“...I’m falling asleep within about 15 minutes. I also haven’t woken up in the middle of the night in weeks, which is shocking for me. I feel more productive at work, especially in the mornings, since I’m not sleep deprived.”
“I honestly think I'm falling asleep quicker, noticing less insomnia during my luteal phase. I used to consider myself someone who had a really hard time falling asleep. It's def gotten better!!”
“Overall I feel like it has totally had an impact on how quickly I am falling asleep. I used to struggle for close to an hour, but now I feel like in general I fall asleep in 15-30 minutes. I feel like I have less nights of insomnia as well.”
“I have definitely noticed my ability to fall asleep faster. I have been tracking via Oura ring and each night is anywhere from 20-12 minutes! I feel like I have more day time energy, especially around that 3pm caffeine slump. I am hoping for that "jump out of bed" energy upon wakeup soon but have no felt…”
“I didn’t expect it to make this much of a difference, but it really has. I’m not sleepwalking anymore, and I’m consistently getting around 9 hours of sleep, which feels life-changing for me. I noticed small improvements within the first two weeks, and by one month the changes were even more noticeable. I’m…”
“When I started in December it was in the midst of the holidays and travel which could get pretty hectic but I was surprised how good my sleep was even after 6am flights or long nights with friends. The biggest thing I noticed was that I was able to sleep in and get an appropriate amount of sleep when…”
“I really tried to focus on my sleep routine before getting into bed at the same time as starting this, but with that said I have actually been able to fall asleep almost EVERY night since taking this, I used to lay there pretty wide awake or wake up in the middle of the night for long periods of time. I am…”
“Honestly, I think I am tossing and turning less. It would usually take me an hour to fall asleep sometimes more.”
“I feel like the first 2 nights I totally fell asleep easier!”
“Essential for a restful night”
HOW IT WORKS

Support both key female sleep rhythms. Hormonal shifts change your sleep needs, so switch formulas halfway through your cycle for support that changes with them.

Protect your melatonin while you wind down. Patented lenses block the light that suppresses it, so you can comfortably read, scroll, or watch TV.
Step 1: Sleep Primer
The first half of your cycle has a different hormonal environment from the second. So your sleep feels different, too.
Estrogen rises toward ovulation while progesterone stays low. The start of this phase can bring disrupted sleep around your period; your experience may shift as the phase progresses.
Calm, mood, and winding down. Safr’Inside™ saffron pairs with Vanizem® grains of paradise for mood and stress support, with Vanizem® studied for ease of falling asleep.*
Progesterone rises after ovulation, and body temperature runs higher. As hormone levels fall before your period, some women notice more restless nights alongside premenstrual symptoms.
Sleep, stress, and broader daily support. Saffron is joined by Shoden® ashwagandha for sleep and stress support, magnesium, and Reducose® mulberry leaf for post-meal glucose support.*
Women are twice as likely as men to report trouble falling asleep every night.1 The Posie Sleep System starts with that reality: sleep support designed around women’s lives and biology.*

Step 1: Why take Sleep Primer in the morning?
The chemistry behind a good night’s sleep starts long before bedtime. Sleep Primer targets pathways involved in that chemistry, from serotonin signaling to your cortisol response.*
Serotonin helps regulate mood and supplies the building blocks for melatonin. At night, your body converts serotonin into melatonin, helping signal that it’s time to sleep. Saffron influences serotonin signaling, connecting its daytime mood support to pathways involved in sleep.*
Cortisol follows its own rhythm: rising around waking and falling toward night. When stress keeps it elevated, winding down can become harder. Shoden® ashwagandha has been shown to reduce elevated cortisol in stressed adults, supporting another part of the chemistry that shapes your nights.*

Step 2: Dream Shades
Melatonin is the hormone that tells your body it’s time to sleep. As evening approaches, your brain naturally begins producing melatonin, helping coordinate your internal clock and many of the restorative processes that happen while you sleep.
The blue light that helps wake you up in the morning can work against you at night. Light from phones, tablets, TVs, and even modern LED light bulbs can suppress melatonin, making it harder for your body to recognize that it’s time for sleep. This relationship has been studied for more than 20 years and is one of the most well-established findings in circadian science.
If blue light suppresses melatonin, filtering those wavelengths before they reach your eyes can help preserve your body’s natural evening response. But not all blue light blocking glasses are designed the same way. Studies generally find the greatest effects with lenses that filter the specific wavelengths most closely linked to melatonin suppression, while lightly tinted lenses tend to have much smaller effects.
Dream Shades lenses are spectrally engineered to target those biologically active wavelengths while preserving brightness and natural color vision. That means you can watch TV, read, or unwind in the evening with less color distortion while still reducing the blue light most closely linked to melatonin suppression.
New research suggests that younger women may be especially sensitive to the effects of evening blue light. Several studies have found greater melatonin suppression and stronger circadian responses in women during their reproductive years, suggesting that reducing blue light exposure in the evening could be particularly beneficial for this group.

Week 1 · Follicular
Falling asleep feels less effortful, and evenings feel smoother even on stressful days.
Saffron supports the serotonin-to-melatonin transition; a calming active lowers evening tension without sedation, so your clock can hear its cues again.
Week 2 · Follicular
You drift into sleep instead of wrestling it, and midnight wakeups feel lighter.
Higher estrogen plus saffron strengthen the serotonin-to-melatonin transition, so your natural “sleep gate” becomes more reliable.
Week 3 · Luteal
Luteal sleep holds up better than usual, and 3 a.m. wakeups are shorter and less charged.
Ashwagandha smooths cortisol as progesterone rises; magnesium supports GABA; a glucose-steadying botanical blunts spikes that trigger night waking.
Week 4 · Luteal
PMS doesn't hijack your sleep or mood, and you wake more functional and less depleted.
Saffron hits its sleep-quality window; ashwagandha helps prevent cortisol overshoots; magnesium supports cleaner melatonin signaling in your hardest hormonal week.
Month 2
Evenings, nights and mornings follow one smooth pattern that syncs with your energy, mood and appetite.
With two full cycles of consistent cues, your circadian and menstrual rhythms start reinforcing each other instead of competing.
Month 3
Bedtime and wake-time feel almost automatic, with a natural arc of energy across your day.
Repeated morning light and nightly wind-down anchor your body clock, so healthy timing becomes the path of least resistance.
Month 4+
Higher highs and deeper lows give your day structure, and stress and screens stop knocking you out of rhythm.
A stronger circadian amplitude (a clear day/night contrast) is linked to more resilient sleep, mood, and metabolic health over time.
Individual experiences and timing vary.
Your circadian rhythm tells your body what to do when: release hormones, process food, become alert, prepare for sleep… and more. Nearly every organ and tissue has its own clock, coordinated by a central clock in your brain.
Modern life can scramble those timing signals: too little daylight, too much light at night, and irregular sleep and meal times.
Keeping those clocks aligned helps your body’s processes happen at the right time, with direct implications for your sleep, mood, metabolism, and heart health.
Hormonal shifts across your cycle influence many of these same systems. Women’s sleep support needs to account for both.

BONUS · YOUR POSIE PERSONAL GUIDE
Personalized support, just a text away. Use it as much or as little as you like.
Light is the main environmental cue that keeps your circadian rhythm aligned with the day. Light reaching your eyes signals the brain’s central clock, which helps coordinate alertness, body temperature, and the timing of melatonin.
Morning light generally shifts your circadian timing earlier; evening light can shift it later. Your Guide turns getting daylight into a simple daily habit with a goal personalized to your weather and cycle.
Good morning! It’s time for your Sleep Primer. Today, take your Follicular Formula.
Based on the weather today and where you are in your cycle, I suggest 15 minutes of morning sun to really support your circadian rhythm for the day.
Can you remind me about my other supplements, too?
Of course. Tell me what you take or send me a picture of the bottles and I’ll remind you from now on.
Illustrative messages
Because sleep is built during the day. Sleep Primer works with your circadian rhythm from the start, so your body is ready to rest by night.
No sedatives, no melatonin, so no morning fog.
Melatonin forces a signal. Posie helps your body make its own, in rhythm.
Sleep Primer still works for you. It does not alter your hormones or try to regulate your cycle.
If you don’t get a period, start with the Follicular Formula, switch to the Luteal Formula when those capsules run out. Your Personal Posie Guide can help you keep track.
Sleep Primer does not alter your hormones, and its ingredients are not known to interact with hormonal birth control. If you’re managing a health condition or take prescription medication, we recommend checking with your doctor before you start.
We don’t recommend Sleep Primer if you are pregnant, trying to conceive or breastfeeding. Dream Shades are fine to use anytime.
You don’t need a cycle for the ingredients in both formulas to support your sleep. Start with the Follicular Formula, then switch to the Luteal Formula when those capsules run out. Your Personal Posie Guide can help you keep track.
Our formulas also contain ingredients studied for benefits beyond sleep. Grains of paradise, the plant used in Vanizem® in the Follicular Formula, has been studied in menopausal women alongside soy isoflavones and pomegranate. Women taking that blend reported greater improvement in overall menopause-related quality of life than those taking placebo.
The study tested that combination, not Vanizem alone or the finished Sleep Primer formulas, so it couldn’t separate out the contribution of each ingredient.
